Jurnal Humas dan Media Kontemporer is an academic journal published by the Communication Studies Programme, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu. This journal serves as a platform for researchers, practitioners and students to disseminate research findings, theoretical studies and critical thinking in the fields of communication studies, public relations, media and various contemporary communication phenomena.

MADIA focuses on the development of communication studies relevant to the dynamics of digital society, media transformation, communication culture, organisational communication, marketing communication, political communication, digital literacy, intercultural communication, and social issues emerging in the information technology era. Published articles encompass a variety of methodological approaches, including quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, case studies, media analysis, ethnography, netnography, and other interdisciplinary approaches.

For authors, this journal offers a platform for scholarly publication that supports the dissemination of knowledge, the enhancement of academic citations, and the development of academic networks.
