The “Indonesia Gelap” demonstration in February 2025 reflected the disappointment of the public, especially students, with government policies that were considered anti-people. This study used Robert N. Entman's framing theory with four analytical tools: Define Problems, Diagnose Causes, Make Moral Judgments, and Treatment Recommendations. This study analyzes how Detik.com and Kompas.com frame the event using a descriptive qualitative approach. The results show that Detik.com highlights the tension between the masses and the authorities, while Kompas.com emphasizes the content of the demands and the impact of the policies on democracy and public welfare. Both media outlets reflect the deep disappointment of students.
