AIM, SCOPE, AND FOCUS

Aim

To advance interdisciplinary knowledge that links rigorous social-science theory to evidence-based policy solutions, thereby strengthening democratic governance, social equity and sustainable development in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

Scope

The journal welcomes original research articles, systematic reviews, policy analyses and concise research notes that integrate perspectives from political science, sociology, public administration, development studies, international relations, gender studies, media studies, socio-legal studies and related fields. Submissions may employ quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, or critical-normative approaches, and should engage with—though need not be confined to—empirical contexts in Indonesia, ASEAN and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
