Abstrak

Being domiciled as a depository and settlement institution (LPP) that provides central custodial services and settlement of securities transactions that are orderly, reasonable, and efficient is a very important part of PT. The Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI) in the capital market. The purpose of this study is to see how KSEI perspectives the role of stock buying and selling transactions in the capital market. This research is descriptive qualitative. Data is obtained through literature research by collecting and analyzing data sourced from books, journals, news, the internet, and other information and then comparing it with applicable regulations. The results of this study show that KSEI's role in buying and selling shares is growing, this is because KSEI plays a full role as a central custodian whose shares and securities are centralized and converted into electronic records.
