PEMBERIAN TERAPI GENGGAM JARI TERHADAP PENURUNAN SKALA NYERI PADA PASIEN POST OPERASI LAPARATOMI
Abstract
Post-laparotomy pain is one of the main issues that can affect the patient's recovery process. Effective pain management is necessary to improve comfort and accelerate healing. Finger grip therapy is a non-pharmacological method that can be used to help reduce pain scale. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of finger grip therapy in reducing pain levels in post-laparotomy patients in the Seruni Ward of RSUD dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu. This study uses an observational research design in the form of a case study. The case study approach aims to explore issues related to laparotomy through a descriptive approach. This method seeks to reveal ongoing events or symptoms. The case study subjects in this research were three post-laparotomy patients in the Seruni Ward of RSUD dr. M. Yunus. Pain levels were measured before and after administering finger grip therapy using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Data analysis was conducted using appropriate statistical tests.
