Abstract

This study analyzes the factors influencing the implementation of the Tacit Knowledge Sharing System at XYZ University by considering three main variables: Social Interaction, Trust, and Norm of Reciprocity. The study employs a purposive sampling method, involving 420 students from various faculties as respondents. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires distributed using the drop-off/pick-up method. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on SMART-PLS to evaluate the relationships between variables as well as the validity and reliability of the research constructs. The results indicate that Social Interaction and Norm of Reciprocity significantly influence the implementation of the Tacit Knowledge Sharing System, whereas Trust does not show a significant effect. These findings suggest that an academic environment that fosters social interaction and encourages a reciprocal culture enhances the effectiveness of knowledge sharing. The implications of this study provide insights for universities in designing policies to strengthen knowledge-sharing systems to improve academic collaboration
