Development of Web-Based Applications for Ethnophytomedicine Data Management Using WISDM Methodology

Abstrak

Information technology can be a medium for utilizing ethnophytomedicin plants and help re-disseminate public knowledge about ethnophytomedicin to increase immunity and prevent disease. Through the development of data management applications, this will help in preserving ethnophytomedicin knowledge, identifying ethnophytomedicin plant species with medicinal properties, documenting the use of ethnophytomedicin plants, and understanding the location of plant distribution. In this study, the application was built using the Web Information System Development Methodology (WISDM) approach. This application allows administrators to manage all data while contributors only have access to manage plant utilization data, data knowledge source and literature data. Visitor actors can only perform content searches and view content. Furthermore, the results of the human-computer interface stage for ethnophytomedika application models are discussed. There are six main human-computer interface designs in the application model including home interface page, search results interface page, detail interface page by plant, detail interface page by disease, detail interface page by ethnicity and back-end page.
