PENGALAMAN IBU HAMIL PRIMIPARA TRIMESTER III DALAM PENANGANAN STRESS SELAMA KEHAMILAN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS LINGKAR BARAT KOTA BENGKULU
Abstract
Pregnancy stress is a phenomenon experienced by every primiparous mother or mother who is pregnant for the first time and there is no experience that can trigger thoughts. In the third trimester, psychological changes increase again before the birth process, things that will happen during delivery, and the condition of the baby at birth. The aim of this study was to explore the experiences of third trimester primiparous pregnant women in handling stress during pregnancy. This research uses qualitative research with a research plan using phenomenological methods. The sample for this study consisted of 3 primiparous mothers. Data collection uses interview techniques. The research results showed that there were 7 themes, namely (1) Mother's perception of her first pregnancy,
(2) Increased stress during pregnancy, (3) Efforts to handle stress by pregnant women, (4) Support from people around her, (5) Experiencing several obstacles during pregnancy. , (6) Pregnant women's efforts to overcome obstacles during pregnancy, (7) Learn from several sources to prepare themselves to become new parents. The conclusions obtained from the results of the interviews were analyzed and reflected in 7 research themes that answered each research objective, and this research found the main theme, namely efforts to handle stress by pregnant women, primiparous mothers have described experiences in handling stress during pregnancy.
