PENGARUH INTERVENSI AIR REBUSAN DAUN BINAHONG (ANREDERA CORDIFOLIA) TERHADAP TEKANAN DARAH PADA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS TELAGA DEWA KOTA BENGKULU
Abstract
Hypertension or high blood pressure is a chronic non-communicable disease. Hypertension can cause blood pressure to rise above normal limits, namely systolic pressure can reach ≥ 140 mmHg and diastolic pressure ≥ 90 mmHg. This type of quantitative research uses a quasi-experimental design. With a one group pre-test and post-test design, then observed again after the intervention. The sample in this study consisted of 15 people with hypertension. The results of research on the intervention of boiled water from binahong leaves in the Telaga Dewa Community Health Center Working Area, Bengkulu City showed that the average systolic and diastolic blood pressure post test intervention on boiled water from binahong leaves was 124.53 mmHg and 77.40 mmHg. Statistical test results show the effect of giving boiled water from binahong leaves on blood pressure in hypertension sufferers with a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05). The conclusion is that there is an effect of giving boiled water from binahong leaves on blood pressure in hypertension sufferers in the Telaga Dewa Community Health Center Working Area, Bengkulu City. Suggestions for hypertension sufferers to take herbal or non-pharmacological treatment to lower blood pressure
