HUBUNGAN PENERIMAAN DIRI DENGAN PERUBAHAN SPIRITUAL PASIEN PALIATIF DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS SAWAH LEBAR KOTA BENGKULU

Abstract

Palliative care aims to improve the well-being of patients and their families during serious illness by focusing on pain relief and offering physical, emotional, and spiritual support. The categories of patients included in palliative care are Cancer, Stroke, Diabetes mellitus, Kidney failure, Dm with wounds, Dm with Hypertension, Paralysis, Disability due to accidents, complications and many more chronic diseases included in palliative care. This study aims to find the relationship between how a person accepts himself with spiritual changes in palliative patients. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design, involving 49 respondents. The results obtained from 49 respondents (100%) with moderate self-acceptance, while 8 respondents (16.3%) with moderate spirituality, and 41 respondents (83.7%) with high spirituality. The conclusion of this study is that there is no significant relationship between self-acceptance and spiritual change, with a p value of 0.642 which is greater than the significance level of 0.05.
