Abstract

COVID-19 is a type of infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-Cov-2). Currently a COVID-19 vaccine has been discovered which can reduce the rate of its spread. This research aims to find a relationship between knowledge about the COVID-19 vaccine and the level of anxiety in the elderly group in Tanjung Aur II Village. The method used is an analytical observational design using a cross sectional approach, which aims to actually find out the relationship between knowledge about the Covid-19 vaccine and anxiety levels in the elderly group in Tanjung Aur II Village. The sampling technique in this research was purposive sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire questionnaire. Univariate and bivariate data analysis using the Chi-square test. Confidence level α (0.05). The results of research using the Chi-square test α (0.028) <0.05, then Ha is accepted, Ho is rejected, meaning that there is a relationship between knowledge about the Covid-19 vaccine and the level of anxiety in the elderly group in Tanjung Aur II Village.
