Analisis Pengalaman Keluarga Dalam Pemberian Dukungan Pada Anak Yang Menderita Asma

Abstract

sthma is a heterogeneous disease which is usually characterized by a history of wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and cough, which varies over time and in intensity accompanied by variations in airway obstruction during expiration. This study aims to determine the family's experience in providing support to children. who suffers from asthma at the Nusa Indah Public Health Center, Bengkulu city in 2021. This type of research is qualitative with a research design using a phenomenological approach with a purposive sampling technique. The results of the researchers got themes and subthemes obtained from an analysis of family experiences about providing support to children with asthma through interviews with the three informants, the results obtained that the three informants already understood calmly providing support to children with asthma by wearing jackets, wearing masks, wearing blankets, keep the diet, avoid cigarette smoke & dust. Suggestions for the Nusa Indah Health Center in Bengkulu City can provide education to the community about how to prevent asthma and can educate families on how to support children with asthma.
