Abstract

Fine motor is an agreement that is influenced by smooth muscles and parts of the body to learn and practice in moving objects from the hands such as drawing, cutting and arranging. Play is a way for children to solve a conflict without realizing it. Games that can help children develop fine motor skills are montages. Making works by cutting image objects from several sources and then pasting them in a field to become a theme is called montage. The purpose of this study was to analyze fine motor skills in preschool children through montage games in Tunas Harapan Kindergarten, Bengkulu City. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative research method with a field approach (Field Research) with a purposive sampling technique with a population of children who are in Tunas Harapan Kindergarten, Bengkulu City. The results of the research, researchers get the themes and sub-themes obtained from the analysis of fine motor skills in preschool children through the montage game, namely the analysis of the montage game with the sub-themes of obstacles, how to overcome, achievements, and duration of the game. It was found that 3 children who experienced a phase of developmental stage (MB) began to develop while the other 1 child had an increase in the phase of development (BSH) developing as expected. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the montage game to improve fine motor skills in preschool children.
