KORELASI DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DAN TINGKAT PENDIDIKAN TERHADAP BATASAN CAIRAN KLIEN CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE
Abstract
Compliance plays an important role in limiting fluid intake in clients undergoing hemodialysis therapy. Clients who experience excess fluid which is characterized by weight gain will be at risk of causing obesity disorder of other organs and even death. This study aims to determine the factors associated with compliance with fluid intake restrictions for clients undergoing hemodialysis therapy. The design of this research, using a correlational research design with purposive sampling the sample obtained in this study was 90 respondents. Data collection was obtained from questionnaires pre and post HD weight measurements. The analysis used the chi square statistical test. The result showed that the factors related to compliance with fluid intake restriction of ESRD clients were family support (p value 0.000) and self efficacy (p value 0.001) while the unrelated factor was education level (p value 0.847). It can be concluded that there is a relationship between compliance with family support and self efficacy. There is no relationship between compliance with education level.
