Abstract

Kidney stones are a condition where the number of stones in the pelvis or lids of the kidneys, as well as in the urinary tract is more than one. The purpose of the study was to identify factors related to the incidence of kidney stone disease in M. Yunus Hospital of Bengkulu. This type of research was a quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study amounted to 59 people. The data obtained were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed based on knowledge (p-value 0.000 <α), there is a relationship between the level of adherence to the incidence of kidney stone disease. Based on the water intake (p-value 0.013 <α), there is a relationship between water intake and the incidence of kidney stone disease. Based on lifestyle (p-value 0.000 < α), there is a relationship between the respondent's lifestyle and the incidence of kidney stone disease. It is hoped that they can better control and provide education about kidney stone disease in patients undergoing treatment at the hospital.
