Pengaruh Breast Care Dengan Aromarapi Jasmine Essensial Oil Terhadap Kelancaran Asi Pada Ibu Menyusui Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Jembatan Kecil Kota Bengkulu

Abstract

Mother's Milk (ASI) is milk produced by the mother after giving birth to be consumed by the baby which is the main source of nutrition that cannot consume solid food. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of breath care with aromatherapy jasmine essential oil on smooth breast milk for breastfeeding mothers in the working area of ​​the Jembatan Kecil Health Center in Bengkulu. This research was a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. The study sample was 15 subjects. The result of this study is the smoothness of breast milk for breastfeeding mothers before the intervention of breast care with jasmine aromatherapy essential oil was lower in all respondents (100%), which means that all respondents in the good category. The level of smoothness of breast milk for breastfeeding mothers after breast care intervention using jasmine aromatherapy essential oil was in the smooth category of 13 respondents (86.7%) and 2 respondents in the liquid category (13.3). The results showed the effect of breast care and jasmine essential oil aromatherapy on breastfeeding mothers in the working area of ​​the Jembatan Kecil Health Center in Bengkulu (p = 0.000 < (0.05). The health center is expected to help educate breastfeeding mothers about breastfeeding.
