Pengalaman Karyawan Terhadap Pencegahan Penularan Covid-19 di Lingkungan Kampus IV Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu

Abstract

Covid-19 is a new type of disease caused by infection with the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARSCOV-2) can be transmitted through droplets. The purpose of this study was to find out about work experience in preventing the transmission of covid-19 in campus IV of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu University. The research design used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, the informants obtained by 3 people were taken based on purposive sampling in accordance with the inclusion criteria. The results of the study obtained 2 themes 1) the Knowledge Aspect and 2) Prevention Aspect. The conclusion of this research is that the informants have an understanding of Covid-19. Where the factors that cause Covid-19 are viruses that attack breathing, the signs and symptoms are shortness of breath, high fever, flu, cough, headache, smelling and tasting breath, and weakness. When coughing and sneezing cover your mouth and nose with your hands or use a tissue. On the emotional side, employees feel afraid and anxious about the upcoming COVID-19 in Indonesia. Aspects of prevention, and handling the spread of the virus must also be done massively. The prevention is by wearing a mask, diligently washing hands, keeping a distance, and vaccinating. It is recommended to Academic Institutions be able to provide reference knowledge about employee experience in preventing the transmission of covid-19 and for further researchers, it is hoped that they can continue this research by further developing work experience in a structured manner.
