Abstract

Excessive blood pressure is known as hypertension. Blood pressure is indicated by two numbers. The systolic number indicates the pressure in the blood vessels when the heart beats or contracts; the diastolic number indicates the pressure in the blood vessels when the heart is at rest between beats. This study is a case study, and its subject is nursing care for hypertensive patients and acute pain management at the Bukit Harapan Community Health Center. The subjects of this study were 5 hypertensive patients with acute pain nursing issues, 5 patients who agreed to participate in the study, and 5 patients and their families who were cooperative. This case study was conducted at the Bukit Harapan Community Health Center. The case study was carried out in February 2025 at the Bukit Harapan Community Health Center; the study lasted for 3 days, from the time the patients arrived at the health center until they
returned home.
