Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Kesejahteraan di Kawasan Indonesia Timur

Abstrak

Pembangunan ekonomi bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui transformasi di sektor politik, ekonomi, dan sosial-budaya. Tahapan pembangunan dapat dilakukan dengan mengembangkan sektor ekonomi dan mengatasi berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi. Pada tahun 2023, sebagian besar provinsi di wilayah Indonesia Timur memiliki HDI di bawah rata-rata nasional. Dengan demikian, para peneliti bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis dampak Harapan Lama Sekolah, Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka, Tingkat Kemiskinan, dan Produk Domestik Bruto terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia sebagai indikator Kesejahteraan di Wilayah Indonesia Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik dengan rentang waktu 2015-2023 dan menggunakan metode analisis regresi data panel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harapan lama sekolah dan PDB memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) di wilayah Indonesia Timur, sementara tingkat pengangguran terbuka dan jumlah penduduk miskin memiliki dampak negatif yang signifikan terhadap IPM di wilayah Indonesia Timur. Secara bersamaan, semua variabel berpengaruh signifikan terhadap HDI di wilayah Indonesia Timur, dengan nilai model R-squared sebesar 0,826543, yang menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 82,65% variasi dalam HDI dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel independen dalam model ini.
