FINANCIAL LITERACY DAN FINANCIAL SECURITY: PERAN MEDIASI FINACIAL BEHAVIOR
Abstract
Financial literacy is closely related to the achievement of future financial security and financial behavior. The role of financial literacy is very important to achieve financial security for individuals. Financial literacy can also improve financial behavior as well as financial security. The research aims to find out how financial behavior is able to m ediate the influence of financial literacy on financial security. This study uses a type of quantitative research. The data sources in the study are primary data and questionnaires as data collection techniques. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total of 61 student respondents in several universities in the special region of Yogyakarta. The analysis of the research data using Smart PLS version 4.0. The results of this study show that financial literacy has a positive effect on financial security, financial literacy has a positive effect on financial behavior, financial behavior has a positive effect on financial security and financial behavior mediates the positive effect of financial literacy on financial security.
