This study aims to evaluate the effects of a combination of turmeric extract (Curcuma domestica) and butterfly pea flower infusion (Clitoria ternatea) on reducing pain in patients suffering from acute gastritis at the Sawah Lebar Health Center in Bengkulu City. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design, the research included pretest and posttest evaluations with 21 participants aged 20 to 59 years. The results indicated that the average pain level before the treatment was 5.76 (indicating moderate pain), which decreased to 2.24 (indicating mild pain) after the intervention. The Wilcoxon test produced a p-value of less than 0.001, demonstrating a significant decrease in pain attributed to the combined treatment of turmeric extract and butterfly pea flower infusion. In summary, the research highlighted that most participants with acute gastritis were 23 years old and female. Furthermore, the application of turmeric extract and butterfly pea flower infusion resulted in a notable reduction in pain, shifting from a moderate level of 5-6 to a mild level of 1-3, with a p-value of less than 0.001, as recorded at the Sawah Lebar Health Center in Bengkulu City.
2025-06-26T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2025 JURNAL NERS GENERATION https://jurnal.umb.ac.id/index.php/ng/article/view/8473 PENGARUH AROMATERAPI EUCALIPTUS TERHADAP PENURUNAN SESAK NAPAS PADA PASIEN ISPA DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS BETUNGAN KOTA BENGKULU 2025-06-17T13:18:47+08:00 Refy Adriansyah weti2024@umb.ac.id Weti Weti weti2024@umb.ac.id
Acute respiratory infections (ARIs) disrupt the throat, nose and lungs for about fourteen days. ARI affects channel structures above the larynx, but most diseases affect both upper and lower channels sequentially. Quantitative research pre experiment one group pre test and post test patients who experience mild shortness of breath in patients with ARI at the Betungan Community Health Center, Bengkulun City. The results showed that the average breath frequency before being given Eucalyptus Aromatherapy was 26.13 with SD = 1.125, the average average breath frequency after being given Eucalyptus Aromatherapy intervention was 24.87 with SD = 0.834, The conclusion is that there is an effect of shortness of breath before and after being given eucalyptus aromatherapy in ARI patients at the Betungan Health Center, Bengkulu City with a p-value of 0.001 <0.005. Even though there is a risk of complications, sometimes a caesarean section is the best way to maintain the safety of the mother and deliver the fetus safely. By using early mobilization therapy, which is one part of Enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS), early mobilization therapy can improve the quality of care for post-cesarean section patients, which is useful for improving functional status and speeding up the healing of abdominal wounds. Pain management in patients post caesarean section surgery can be done using pharmacological therapy and non-pharmacological therapy. This type of research uses quantitative research with a quasi-experiment method approach using one group pre-test and post-test methods with a sample size of 15 respondents. The results of the previous study showed that before giving mobilization therapy and intervention, 15 respondents experienced moderate pain and after giving the intervention, 15 respondents experienced mild pain.
