GAMBARAN EFEK PEMBERIAN VAKSIN COVID-19 JENIS SINOVAC PADA ANAK DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS JEMBATAN KECIL

Abstract

Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by infection with the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARSCoV-2). Covid-19 has been declared by the WHO as a global pandemic on March 11, 2020 and in Indonesia it has been declared a type of disease that causes emergencies in the public health sector and non-natural disasters. The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of giving the sinovac type of covid-19 vaccine to children in the working area of ​​the Jembatan Kecil Health Center. This study uses quantitative research methods with descriptive research design. The population in the study amounted to 309 respondents, samples that can be taken amounted to 59 respondents using purposive sampling technique. It can be concluded that the effect of vaccines based on gender was found in 30 women who experienced a mild vaccine effect (50.8%). The vaccine effect based on age was obtained at the age of 6 years with a mild vaccine effect totaling 12 respondents (20.3%). The effect of vaccines based on congenital disease was found to have no congenital disease totaling 59 respondents (100%). Suggestion, For further researchers, they can examine the analysis of the effects of the COVID-19 vaccine and make this research a reference in developing further research.
