Abstract

Bullying is a case with a serious threat, especially in the school environment that disrupts child development. As a result, this has become a problem that has received global attention. Usually, bullying occurs in terms of friendship with individuals who do not have a sense of liking or other things in weak children. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between school environmental factors, peer factors, and media factors with the incidence of bullying in 6th-grade students at SDN 81 Bengkulu City. The type of this research is quantitative research with a cross-sectional design using an explanatory survey method. The research sample used the total sampling method, namely all active 6th-grade students at SDN 81 Bengkulu City, amounting to 37 people. The data obtained were analyzed by univariate and bivariate using the Chi-square test. The results showed that peer factors (p-value 0.000 < 0.005) and media factors (p-value 0.001 < 0.005) influenced the incidence of bullying at SDN 81 Bengkulu City, which means that there is a significant relationship between peer factors and media factors with the incidence of bullying in Bengkulu. SDN 81 Bengkulu City. Suggestions, schools can improve discipline in schools and play an active role in providing counseling guidance to bullies.
