Abstract

Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by a type of Coronavirus with the most common symptoms being fever, fatigue, and a dry cough. In carrying out their duties as the frontline in handling, preventing and treating Covid-19 patients, it is very possible for health workers to experience anxiety. Anxiety is likely to affect the performance of health workers.This study uses a quantitative research type With a cross sectional research design. The results of the univariate analysis for the distribution of respondents based on the level of anxiety, namely that of 42 respondents from health workers there were 25 people (59.5%) with mild anxiety levels and 17 respondents from health workers (40.5%) with moderate levels of anxiety, based on performance. that of the 42 health workers all (100%0 with good performance.The results of the bivariate analysis of normality test results using the Shapiro-Wilk test showed that the p-value (sig) of the anxiety level was 0.035 and the p-value (sig) of the performance of health workers was 0.002. Because all values ​​of p < 0.05 are said to be not normally distributed. The results of the test of the relationship between the level of anxiety of the impact of the covid-19 virus on the performance of health workers in the work area of ​​the West Lingkar Health Center in Bengkulu city using the Spearman rank correlation test, it is known that the Spearman rank correlation test (rs) is 0.006 with a p-value of 0.969 because the p value> 0.05, it is said that there is no relationship between the level of anxiety about the impact of the COVID-19 virus on the performance of health workers in the work area of ​​the West Lingkar Health Center, Bengkulu
