Gambaran Tingkat Kekambuhan Pada Pasien Asma di Masa COVID-19

Abstract

Asthma is a lung disease, manifested as an inflammatory process throughout the respiratory process, which causes the airways to overreact to various stimuli, which can lead to a complete contraction of the airways, and can cause spontaneous or reversible dyspnea after treatment. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research using cross sectional method. The population of this study were all adult asthmatics (20-60 years old) in the working area of ​​the Jembatan Kecil Bengkulu Health Center, amounting to 45 people. The sample of this study used a total sampling technique. The results showed that the vast majority of asthma recurrences during COVID-19 were included in the severe category, namely 28 people (62.2%). In conclusion, the factors that affect the recurrence rate in asthma patients during the Covid-19 period in the work area of ​​the Small Bridge Public Health Center in Bengkulu City are mostly classified as severe asthma recurrence rates.
